I was eating porridge the other morning and after complaining that it tasted bland I decided to add a few more items to my bowl. The items I chose were sultanas and ground up seeds (pumpkin, linseed and sunflower). Almost instantly I had improved the nutritional content of my meal!
This got me thinking - what else could I add to my meals in order to improve the nutritional content of that meal?
Simply adding salads is a great way of doing this, but getting creative is a fun way to improve a meal as well. Even a piece of fruit at the end of the meal is a great way to boost the nutrients during that meal.
Add something that is nutritious and low in calories to your meals and improve the overall quality of your nutrition.
