Have you seen the adverts on TV for the toothpaste that helps to prevent your teeth from 'acid erosion'?
The toothpaste helps to protect the teeth from acid which is present from modern diets. For those of you who have been following alkaline diets for a while you will recognise this as dealing with the problem from the wrong end. Acidic foods are usually those that are highly processed and rich (the beers, coffees, meats and snacks of this world). Alkaline foods are usually fruits and vegetables (but watch out for a lot of the sugary fruits).
So, what to do if you are not already on your alkaline diet? Try to eat 80% of your diet from the alkaline side. Type in 'alkaline diets' into a search engine and see what information you can find to create a better approach to choosing the food that makes up your diet.
And what about Wheatgrass? It's about as alkaline as you can get - so make it a part of your diet.
