If your diet and health plans aren’t going too well then think of the doldrums. The doldrums are a reference to sailing when the winds disappear and we get stuck. This conjures the idea that we need to put some wind in our sails and get going again.

It could be planning a long walk or a couple of smoothies – something to get us back on track and feeling like we’ve made an effort. Once we have made our gesture we need to take this momentum and put in place the discipline that we need in order to keep our progress going.
